Quantum Error Announced for PS5
Gamers didn’t expect two horror games to be announced on back-to-back dates. The 1st title is Outlast Trials, which is exclusive to the personal computer for a short period. Gamers are placed into a Cold War Mental Asylum & must avoid psychotic enemies with three friends to disembark from this facility. Supporters of Outlast Original & Outlast Two were excited by this announcement.
The announcement of Outlast Trials was quickly overshadowed by Quantum Error, a video game exclusive for the PlayStation5. It’s being developed by Team Kill Media & allowed consumers to take the role of Captain Jacob Thomas. He Captains the Garbao Fire Department in the San Francisco Region. One day he’s sent towards the Monad Quantum Research Facility, which is located thirty miles from his jurisdiction. What follows is an unexpected number of events after a demonic fire consumes this research facility.
Having no formal training for blazes with their own mind, Captain Jacob Thomas must enlist the assistance of his crew. Characters like Shane Costa will help his Fire Captain in saving multiple lives within the facility, which means killing others that’ve been infected by an unknown plague. Getting out of this horrifying research facility won’t be challenging & will descend players into unknown darkness.
It’s expected that Quantum Error will release for the PlayStation5 during launch, per the announcement from Team Kill Media. They did clarify that a specific date isn’t being confirmed until the PS5s release is confirmed. It’s currently not known when the PlayStation5 will launch to retail locations worldwide.
It’s Not Dead Space
Those expecting this title to share similarities with Dead Space will be pleasantly surprised. However, gamers shouldn’t anticipate the gameplay or story to resemble the PS3 Franchise. Elements taken from Dead Space primarily relate to the pacing of Quantum Error, how gamers traverse the landscape, and how horror is unveiled to consumers.
This means that playing Quantum Error will seem familiar but different for fans of the Dead Space franchise. Details regarding all components for this title wasn’t revealed, meaning it’s not known if Quantum Error will support Co-Op Multiplayer like Outlast Trials. Additional details are expected when the PS5 release date is announced.
